Aerodromes and Fly in Tourism
Gayndah & Mundubbera Airstrip temporary closure
With safety being the number one priority at our local aerodromes, Gayndah and Mundubbera Airstrips
will be closed on the following dates for fresh line marking to be applied.
Gayndah – Monday, 2 and Tuesday, 3 August 2021
Mundubbera – Wednesday, 4 and Thursday, 5 August 2021.
Council maintains a network of aerodromes throughout the region, including sealed runways at Gayndah, Mundubbera and Monto, an unsealed gravel strip at Eidsvold, and grassed strips at Biggenden and Mt Perry. There are no landing fees at Council’s aerodromes.
